An extensive street index to the detailed street map of the large city of Ivano-Frankivsk (formerly Stanisławów, Stanislau, and Stanislaviv) in western Ukraine on the front side of this brochure; the index is keyed to the grid on the map. This side of the brochure, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, also provides a lengthy timeline summary of the city's history from the 15th century, a lengthy list and key to the cultural features and civic services of the city (no sites of Jewish significance are included), photographs of several landmark architectural monuments, and a small map of the area surrounding Ivano-Frankivsk from Halych and Kalush to Tlumach and Otyniia. This brochure, produced several months after the Russian military invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, specifically highlights 14 streets in Ivano-Frankivsk which were renamed to remove Russian cultural figures' names; most were renamed for heroes of 2022 battle cities.
