A detailed street map of the large city of Brovary (Brovar, בראָוואַר) just east of the capital of Kyiv in north-central Ukraine, with a lengthy symbol legend identifying many types of tourist sites and civic services. No sites of Jewish significance are marked, although there is a central street named for the writer Sholem Aleichem. The demolished Jewish cemetery today sits in an unmarked section of the large Peremoha (Victory) Park. The reverse side of this map, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, provides an extensive street index keyed to the grid on the map, a compact summary of Brovary's 400-year history, a key to the cultural features and civic services of the city, and a district map showing the geographical relationship of Brovary to Kyiv and other nearby cities.
