A detailed street map of the small city of Bohuslav (Boguslav, Boslov, באָסלעוו) south of Kyiv in central Ukraine, with a symbol key identifying many types of architectural and cultural heritage, and a street index keyed to the map grid. An inset shows the Bohuslav district surrounding the city, with schematic representations of many nearby settlements. Among the marked cultural features is the 300-hundred year old former Cheder (Jewish school) building north of the Ros River, and a monument to Sholem Aleichem south of the river; the village of Sofiivka where Aleichem met and tutored his future wife is marked on the district map. The Jewish cemetery is shown near the northern edge of the city, marked with crosses. The reverse side of this map, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, gives a summary history of the city and region together with a large number of images and descriptions of local cultural sites.
