A detailed street map in the Ukrainian language of the city of Sambir (סאַמבאָר) southwest of Lviv in western Ukraine, with a list of streets indexed to a grid plus a symbol key identifying many types of architectural and cultural heritage. Memorial markers are listed for the mass grave of victims shot during the Nazi occupation (with no mention that most victims were Jewish, or that the burial site is on the Jewish cemetery), and of the Holocaust killing site in a forest north of the city center. Insets show a high-scale street map of the city center and the former Sambir administrative district with many labeled cities and towns. The reverse side of this map, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, presents historical essays on the city and region in Ukrainian and English languages along with color photos of significant local heritage sites.
