Nadvornaya (Nadvirna, Nadworna) History and Cultural Sites 2008

A series of color images and an extended essay in the Ukrainian language describing the history and cultural features of the town of Nadvirna (נאַדוואָרנאַ) south of Ivano-Frankivsk in western Ukraine. A second essay covers the history and features of the local castle (now a ruin), a third covers the regions natural environment, and a fourth describes the local history museum. An inset shows the former Nadvirna administrative district with many labeled cities and towns. The front side of this map, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, includes a detailed street map of the town of Nadvirna.
