A detailed street map of the city of Khotyn (כעטין) near Kamianets-Podilskyi southwestern Ukraine, and a simplified street map of the town of Medzhybizh, east of Khmelnytskyi. Each map is accompanied by a historical essay which focuses especially on the local fortress ruins. The Khotyn map colors and labels the Jewish cemetery northwest of the city center. The Medzhybizh map fails to mark the old Jewish cemetery, burial place of the Baal Shem Tov, but the historical essay mentions him and notes the significance of the town in Hasidic traditions. An inset on the page provides a regional road and tourism map, emphasizing the many castles and fortresses to be found around the Khmelnytskyi and bordering oblasts.
