The reverse side of a road map of the Poltava region (oblast) east of Kyiv in central Ukraine, published by Kartografiia of Kyiv, which continues to this side. Major and minor roads plus the key rail lines and waterways connecting cities in the region and beyond are indicated. A map legend appears on the front side in Ukrainian and English, identifying with symbols, colors, and line types a large number of map features, including settlements in three ranked sizes; borders, road types and transit points; tourist information and service points; and points of nature interest. This side includes simplified street maps of the administrative center city of Poltava as well as the next-largest cities of Kremenchuk, Lubny, and Myrhorod. An index to nearly 2000 settlements with a key to their locations within the grid on this map, and a table of driving distances between the oblast's major cities are also given here.
