A large and detailed multi-color street map in Russian of the city of Brest in southwestern Belarus, published by Belkartografia in 2019. Brest was formerly known as Brest-Litovsk, Bieraście, Brześć, and Berestye, and in Yiddish as בריסק or Brisk. The map labels major and minor streets throughout greater Brest, and text adjacent to the map briefly summarizes the city's 1000-year history. A map legend identifies with symbols, colors, and line types a large number of map features, including borders and transit points; travel, tourism and entertainment facilities; foreign diplomatic services; sporting sites, hospitals, and banks; and a wide variety of historical and cultural monuments. Three architectural features located outside the city center are represented with photographs. The dense historic city center is outlined in a rectangle which corresponds to a high-scale map on the reverse side of this map.
