A large and detailed multi-color road map in Russian of the Gomel district (raion) in southeastern Belarus, published in 2020. The district surrounds the city of Gomel (also Homyel or Homel, and Homl or האמל in Yiddish), which is the administrative center, and the district borders Ukraine within the Gomel region (oblast). A large number of regional features are defined in a map legend with symbols, colors, and line types, identifying: borders, road types and transit points; travel, tourism and entertainment facilities; significant landscape features; and historical and cultural sites and monuments. An index of about 200 cities, towns and large villages in the district is keyed to the map grid. In addition, three historical and modern architectural sites and a memorial monument are illustrated by photos.
