Kaunas Tourist Map 2023

A simplified multi-color street map of the city of Kaunas (known as Kovne in Yiddish) in southern Lithuania, produced by the Briedis Company in 2023. The map highlights and labels the major streets and highways, and labels the city's main neighborhoods. Accompanying the map are descriptions with contact information and web addresses for more than 20 museums and galleries in Kaunas which are named in five languages including English. Among the listed museums is the south-central house museum of Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese vice-consul who issued thousands of transit visas to trapped Jews in 1940.
