Photocopy of a town plan of Otaci, Moldova (formerly Ataki), from 1968 (Soviet era). The map is carefully hand-drawn and annotated in Russian language to label street names and house numbers, and to highlight features of significance in the town such as schools, hospitals, the main bus station, and both road and rail crossings over the Dniester River (and the national border with Ukraine). Added annotations in English include the locations of a synagogue and a Jewish cemetery. Note: The large Ataki Jewish cemetery is actually in the nearby village of Volchinets.
